To access this water, we only have to drill 15 meters or 45 feet on average. Irrigation is a major problem across the African continent. However, because of this geological formation (groundwater in aquifers), Malawi has the opportunity to become an agricultural giant by accessing this water and by using it to grow its own agricultural products.
